A 62-year-old woman was rushed by air to Jackson Memorial Hospital after an American Bulldog attacked her in Miami Gardens Friday, police said.
The woman was visiting a friend when the dog jumped a fence and bit her in the scalp, shoulder and hand. The owner, who tried to pull the bulldog back, also received puncture wounds, Miami Gardens Police Sgt. Bill Bamford said.
Animal control is en route to the scene at 18430 NW 42nd Place, Bamford said.
