A pedestrian was struck and killed on the northbound lanes of I-95 near U.S. 441 Thursday night, a Florida Highway Patrol spokesman said.
Authorities were dispatched to the scene on the Golden Glades interchange at 8:54 p.m. and arrived eight minutes later, according to the FHP.
FHP spokesman Joe Sanchez said the accident was not a hit-and-run. The male victim died on the scene, he said.

Officers were continuing to gather information Thursday night, Sanchez said.
