A bicyclist in Deerfield Beach was fatally struck by two cars on Friday morning, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
One of the cars stayed at the scene at 4800 North Dixie Highway, while the other fled, authorities said.
Authorities said that the first car that hit the man stayed at the scene and called 911, but as she tried to flag down other motorists to help, another car hit the man and fled.
The man was taken to North Broward Hospital and died of his injuries.
He was on his way to work at a Precast Specialties, cement factory in the area. He was from Haiti and had been working at the factory for two months.
No other information was immediately available.
