A woman sustained minor injuries Monday after she was bitten by a pit bull in Deerfield Beach on Monday, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.
The incident occurred at 3953 NW 1st Place, when the woman knocked on the door of the home. She was bitten on the ankle.
The dog has been confined.
