Coast Guard crews from Miami and the Dominican Republic rescued six people who were adrift northeast of Isle De Tortue, Haiti on Friday.
Crews first received a report that a small boat was drifting in the vicinity of Monte Cristi, Dominican Republic, said Coast Guard officials.
After assistance vessels were sent out, the six people were safely transported to the Dominican authorities, officials said.
