A woman was taken to Kendall Regional Medical Center with burns on 60 percent of her body after she was found at a brush fire Tuesday night, authorities said.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue found the woman near the busway at South Dixie Highway and SW 214th St. in Goulds, Miami-Dade Police said.
She is homeless and lives in the bushes near that area, police said. They said they are investigating the incident as an attack on a homeless person based on the evidence they have so far.
