Broward deputies are searching for a man they say has assaulted two female joggers while armed.
The man attacked two women in two separate incidents on Apr. 29 and May 1 along the Hamptons Boulevard/Avon Lane corridor, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said he approached both women with a gun, spoke to them in Spanish and tried to drag them into bushes or a tree line.
The victims, who do not speak English, fought back, and were able to escape, officials said. One woman hit his face, the other bit his hands, according to deputies.
