A car on fire on the Florida Turnpike in Broward caused traffic backups and delays Wednesday morning.
The incident happened in the northbound lanes near I-595 and Griffin Road shortly before 7 a.m.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames but the fire caused traffic to back up for miles.
It's unknown what caused the fire or whether anyone was injured.
