There’s a lot of noise at Oriole Elementary school - especially inside the library.
That's because Target just gave the Broward school's library a complete makeover.
“It’s better than last time, but bigger and awesome,” said Kenny, a fourth-grader.
The official ribbon cutting ceremony had special guests like parents, Bullzeye the Target Dog and Broward Schools Superintendent Robert Runcie who had a few words for the students.
“To the students, what I would say is that this is an investment in you," Runcie said. "It’s an investment in your future because we believe in you.”
Part of Target’s investment came from the Heart of America Foundation, who completed their 150th Target school makeover and will do another 25 by the end of the year.

Not only did these students get upgrades in technology and furniture, they also got brand new books - 2,000 of them to checkout and read.
“I’m going to read as much books as I can and check them out too,” Kenny said.
Even the school’s staff is excited.
"This day is so special for me and all of the students here," said media specialist Julie Sherman. "The library is the heart of the elementary school. It just feels like it’s Christmas and Hanukkah wrapped into one.”
Through programs like this one, Target is on track to give $1 billion dollars for education by the end of 2015.
