A Miami-Dade prosecutor was arrested after she sideswiped another car and left the scene of an accident, police said.
Caycie Blake Flitman, 29, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident with damage in the Monday night crash, according to a Miami Police arrest affidavit.
She was released from jail after posting bond, officials said. It's unknown whether she has an attorney.
Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office spokesman Ed Griffith said Thursday that Flitman had resigned.
According to the affidavit, Flitman was driving east on S. Dixie Highway near Southwest 27th Avenue when she made an improper lane change and sideswiped another car.
She continued driving with the victim following her until she pulled into a lot, the affidavit said.
Flitman got out of her car and walked to the other driver's window and started to curse and call him names before she drove away, the affidavit said.
She was later arrested after the other driver was able to write down her license plate number, the affidavit said.
