A late season cold front is on the way to South Florida, which is likely to trigger some afternoon showers and thunderstorms Monday.
Before that unfolds after the lunch hour, count on a lot of morning sunshine with hot and humid conditions in place. Storms will be possible throughout the afternoon and evening before the front passes late this evening and calms our weather pattern down.
Monday will be partly sunny and warm, with scattered showers and thunderstorms and highs around 88. The storms will end and skies will clear with temps dropping to around 70.
Starting Tuesday, a sunny and slightly cooler pattern will settle in for several days with highs around 82 and breezy conditions. Look for lower humidity through Thursday with highs in the low 80s.
