Three people were injured and one man lost part of a leg after a crash involving a bus bench in Miami.

Miami Fire Rescue responded to the crash Wednesday morning by a Shell gas station on the 4200 block of West Flagler Street in Miami.

The six-car pileup spilled onto the sidewalk, hitting a bus bench where three people had been sitting.

Those three people, two men and one woman, were transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center and are listed in critical condition, said Miami Fire Rescue spokesman Iggy Carroll.

Carroll confirmed one of the men did lose part of his leg.

Officials said another two people, drivers involved in the crash, were taken to the hospital.

One of the vehicles involved was a Miami-Dade County truck, according to authorities. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
