A Miami man is hoping to find a home for an injured peacock that recently appeared in his backyard.
The peacock is missing a foot and going thorough mobility problems, according to Don Daniels from Miami.
“We have not been cutting the grass in our backyard because we're afraid of hurting or distressing him,” Daniels said.
Daniels is afraid the peacock will get hurt by his cat, which generally targets smaller birds, or by the raccoons, who sometimes roam the neighborhood.

“We want him to have somewhere to hide,” he said.
Daniels reached out to his veterinarian, who referred him to a company that will relocate the peacock for $289.
But Daniels said he cannot afford the relocation fees.
Daniels asked the public to email him at d_donald@comcast.net if they want to help relocate the peacock.
