Surveillance video shows thieves racking up thousands of dollars on credit cards that belong to Joyce Landry.

"How on earth can somebody spend $9,000 in a Target store in 10 minutes," she said.

The store manager told Landry there is only one way that could happen, buying $1000 gift cards right at the checkout counter.

Landry works in a office in Coral Gables near the University of Miami.

Somebody snuck in and stole her wallet while she was in the bathroom.

The crooks used three of her credit cards about an hour later at the target store in dadeland station.

The timestamp on the store's surveillance video shows how quickly the crime happened.

On April 2 At 6:56 p.m. a man makes his first fraudulent purchase of a gift card at the register. At 6:57 the video shows him back at the same register buying another card.

At 7:02 two other suspects purchase a card at a different register.

One minute later, 7:03, the first suspect is back at the same register, spending Landry's money again.

"I knew they were in Target, I went online... I could see my cards were being used," said Landry.

She says the store manager told her there was nothing they could do because the cashiers don't check identifications when somebody uses a credit card.

NBC 6 contacted Target corporate headquarters for a comment but they never responded.
