The National Hurricane Center has placed a 30 percent chance of development on the disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico bringing us the rain. It is slowly drifting to the north, and will continue to bring us higher than normal rain chances during the next several days.
Plan on a wet week, with the possibility of slow-moving tropical rains until the end of the week. By the weekend, we should be back to a more “typical” weather pattern for the summer months.
Temperatures will stay in the mid 80s.
