Residents in one downtown Orlando neighborhood had an unusual visitor in their midst: A bear.
The Orlando Police Department reports the bear wandered its way up into a tree Saturday near Lake Lorna Doone and the Florida Citrus Bowl stadium.
Priceless Bar-B-Que owner Raymond Price said at first he didn't believe it when he was told a bear was walking up and down the street near his restaurant at about 2 a.m.
But seven hours later, Price saw the animal himself resting up in a tree. He estimated the bear weighs between 300 and 350 pounds.
Police said the bear has not threatened anyone and has been tagged by wildlife officials.
