A sea turtle, who had been saved aftar getting stuck between two boulders, was released back to the ocean.
The loggerhead sea turtle was released last week after being treated at a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission partner rehab facility, said FWC spokeswoman Carli Segelson.
The turtle was stuck on they jetty slope between boulders n Palm Beach in May. It was spotted during a morning survey by a nesting permit holder.

The FWC thanked the Palm Beach Fire Rescue on Friday for saving the turtle, according to the FWC Facebook page.
"Your team responded to the incident, evaluated the situation and took quick action to rescue the sea turtle," FWC Regional Director Chuck Collins wrote in a letter to the Palm Beach Fire Rescue. "They removed large, heavy rocks which trapped the turtle and prevented it from returning to open water. Without their efforts, this turtle likely would have drowned during the next tide."
The loggerhead sea turtle is protected as a threatened species by the Federal Endangered Species Act.
