Heat fans are everywhere, including here at Holtz Children's Hospital, and about a dozen kids like 12-year-old Raymond Jimenez were feeling White Hot on Wednesday afternoon's NBA finals watch party.
"And when Ray Allen hit that buzzer beater to go into overtime ...That was awesome," said Raymond.
He stayed up late to watch the entire game with his mom Elsie, but they were just happy to get out of the hospital room and feel the excitement of Game 6 all over again.
"There are no words to describe how I feel for what the hospital has done. And how thankful I am for what the hospital is doing. It's phenomenal," said Elsie.
Jenny Justice is a child life specialist at the hospital, and she says that the kids and their families really deserve this.
"Helps to really decrease some of that stress in the hospital to come here and have fun and not have to think about the doctors and medicine and all of that good stuff," she said.
Tysea Carey is 12 years old, and he stayed up to watch the game too.
"When I watched the game I thought they were going to lose. I said 'Oh no.' I had to turn my head around. I didn’t want to see it. I went to sleep because I didn’t want to watch the game. Thought that they were going to lose then my mama woke me up talking about oh they winning they winning. Then I got up and start watching," said Carey.
The kids had a blast between watching the game, eating cupcakes, and getting free Heat gear.
"Win or lose they are still champions," said Raymond
