Two of three stolen pit bull puppies were recovered in the Florida Keys, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.
The puppies were stolen last week from a Stock Island home, and third one is still missing.
According to the sheriff’s office, the dog owner’s neighbor found two of the puppies in a box placed at an intersection.
The puppies were found in good health and were reunited with their mother, authorities said.
The sheriff’s office is continuing the investigation in hopes of finding the last missing pit bull puppy.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
