A pipeline sewer broke in the area of Dade Boulevard, Convention Center Drive and Meridian Avenue at about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, a Miami Beach city spokeswoman said.
People are advised to not go in the water along the eastern portion of Biscayne Bay, the Collins Canal and Indian Creek, city spokeswoman Nanette Rodriguez said.
Aerial footage showed workers responding along Dade Boulevard. Traffic was not affected.
The pipeline will be repaired around midnight, Rodriguez said.
