Starting Monday, drivers on Florida's Turnpike and other toll roads will see an increase in the toll price.
The price will increase 2.1 percent, and it is based on the 2012 rate of inflation, the Sun Sentinel reported.
This increase will affect SunPass drivers and those using the license plate tolling system in Miami-Dade County.
With the change, a driver getting on the Turnpike at Glades Road and exiting at Sunrise Boulevard will pay $1.28 in tolls, when previously they paid $1.25.
This increase is expected to raise about $12 million throughout the state, the Sun Sentinel reported.
The next increase is set for 2017.
