It was a drier start Wednesday, with temperatures starting out in the low 80s in South Florida.
A few showers and storms will stay around for the afternoon, but overall Wednesday should be a slightly drier day than Tuesday. Plan on temperatures warming to near 90 Wednesday afternoon.
Winds will also be increasing through the next few days and there will be a strong risk of rip currents along the area beaches through the July 4 holiday.
Rain chances will be going down for the 4th and for Friday, with highs in the upper 80s.
