An elderly woman is in good condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital after she was attacked by dogs in a neighbor’s yard Monday, Miami Police said.
The woman was walking and entered the neighbor’s yard at Northwest 1st Avenue and 44th Street, and the dogs then attacked her, Miami Police spokesman Det. Willie Moreno said.
They bit her in the face and arms, he said. Police could not say what kind of dogs they were Monday night.

Angela Anastasio witnessed the attack.
"I couldn't even hear her screaming. That's how intense the dogs were getting her. At her neck, at her face," she said.
Anastasio said the dogs were relentless – and wouldn't give up even when the owners tried to rescue the woman.
"They were kicking the dog, pulling the dog off," Anastasio said.
