Hollywood detectives have released surveillance video taken by the scene of a Friday shooting.
Investigators said the man seen fleeing in the video is the subject responsible for the shooting of 16-year-old Jacob Rivera.
Rivera was found shot on the side walk at about 5:15 p.m. Friday at 900 N. 66th Avenue, Hollywood Police said.
He as taken to the intensive care unit at Memorial Regional Hospital, where he remains in critical condition, police said Saturday.
A witness to the shooting told investigators he saw a white man with a with a white t-shit over his face fleeing from the area.
Officials were also investigating a second shooting Friday that happened at about 9:15 p.m. on South 29th Terrace and Jackson Street.
The 20-year-old victim in that shooting, identified as Donavin Johnson, died at Memorial Regional Hospital, where he had also been taken in critical condition, officials said.
Police have not said whether the two shootings are related. Anyone with information is urged to call Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
