Police are looking for a pair of suspects who shot and killed a man in his front yard in northwest Miami-Dade Tuesday.
Roberto Gonzalez, 61, was washing his car in front of his home at 2382 Northwest 82nd Street when he was approached and shot by two men around 4:55 p.m., Miami-Dade Police said.
Gonzalez was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center where he later died.
The suspects, who may be juveniles, fled the scene in a newer model grey Chevy Impala, police said. Robbery is believed to be the motive in the shooting.
Hours earlier, a man was gunned down in a robbery on Northwest 44th Street in Miami. Marcus Smith, 58, was shot several times outside a home around 2 p.m., police said.
Police are looking for two suspects in the earlier shooting as well.
