A woman is wanted in Port Charlotte for stealing bread from a sub shop.
At about 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Sam's Subs and Soups Shop received its daily delivery of bread from its supplier, Charlotte County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday.
When the shop's owner arrived, he noticed that four bags were missing. The delivery company assured him that all products had been delivered, the sheriff's office said.
The owner checked with a neighboring business and found video that showed a female walking up to his business at about 7:40 a.m. and taking the four bags of bread.
Even though the shop lost bread, it thanked the thief on its Facebook page Wednesday, saying the theft had created more advertising for the shop.
