A stormier weather pattern will linger for the weekend, leaving numerous afternoon showers and thunderstorms across South Florida.
The best chance for sunshine will come in the mornings, followed by developing storms in the afternoon.
Some of the storms could bring in some locally heavy downpours.
Saturday will be partly sunny with isolated morning showers and scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Temperatures will reach 92 degrees and dip into the high 70s overnight.

Sunday will bring in some early morning sunshine, but more afternoon showers and storms will follow. Highs will be at 91.
The pattern should break by Monday, with more sunshine in the forecast under partly sunny skies. Conditions will be warm and humid, with highs at 89.
Tropical Storm Dorian continues to weaken, barely hanging on to its tropical storm status.
The ragged looking storm is forecast to break down and potentially dissipate in the next 48 hours.
At this point it poses no threat to South Florida.
