South Florida’s forecast calls for typical morning showers and early afternoon scattered storms over the next few days, with highs near 90 degrees.
Meanwhile, the National Hurricane Center gives the “remnant moisture” from Dorian a 50 percent chance at redeveloping into a tropical storm within the next 48 hours. That moisture may push into South Florida’s backyard by late Wednesday or Thursday, but not much more than scattered storms are expected.
Later in the week, expect much drier weather on Friday and into the weekend, when temperatures will warm into the low 90s.
