The state's three-day tax holiday is back starting Friday and legislators are adding a few new items to their list of school supplies.
Florida legislators have expanded sales tax exemptions this year to tech tools like personal computers, e-readers, tablets, software and accessories that cost up to $750, according to the Florida Department of Revenue.
This does not include certain items like cell phones, gaming systems, digital cameras, tablet cases or computer paper. Batteries are also not exempt except for orthopedic or prosthetic use.

Like last year, certain school supplies selling for $15 or less and certain clothing and accessories selling for $75 or less are tax-exempt. Books are not tax-exempt.
Exemptions will be based on individual item pricing and not the total purchase amount. Anyone can take advantage of the tax exemptions, whether or not they are a student or have children.
The tax-free holiday begins at 12:01 a.m. Friday and ends at 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
Best Buy will be extending its hours for the weekend, opening at 8 a.m. instead of 10 a.m., the Tampa Tribune reported.
