A Boynton Beach man with tribal tattoos covering his face was arrested for smoking a crack pipe in a car, authorities said.
Boca Raton Police featured Keith Diaferia's mugshot as the Mugshot of the Day on its Facebook page Tuesday because of his tattoo.
But police say it was his criminal activity that attracted them on Monday.
Diaferia, 54, was arrested Monday when police were surveying a gas station parking lot and found him with Jessica Supel, 32, smoking a crack pipe, police said.
In the car, police found two needles filled with heroin, five empty needles, three small pink baggies with heroin inside, one clear baggie with heroin inside, one clear baggie with residue inside, one crack cocaine rock, two empty green baggies, one blue crack pipe, one clear crack pipe, a half of a yellow pill and a piece of a green pill.
Diaferia was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence. He was released from jail Tuesday on a $2,500. Supel was arrested on multiple drug charges including possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. As of Wednesday morning, she was being held in jail without bond. It was not immediately know if they had attorneys.
