At least one person is dead after a car fell off Interstate 95 near NW 32nd Street just after 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
Fire rescue crews said the car, containing two women, was traveling down northbound express lanes when it hit the center median, lost control and fell down an embankment.
One woman was thrown from the car while crews had to free the other from the wreckage, officials said.
"We had to cut part of a fence, get her out of the debris," said Captain John Hinton with Miami Fire Rescue.
Both women were taken to Ryder Trauma Center. At least one is dead, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
