An urban flood advisory was issued for northeast Miami-Dade County until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The advisory included Hialeah.
Afternoon storms were expected for Tuesday in South Florida with a the threat for some locally heavy downpours this afternoon.
Early morning sunshine was bright before clouds build up and eventually take over for the balance of the afternoon. Expect highs around 91.
A sunnier break in the weather pattern will begin to kick in by Wednesday and hold through Thursday. Wednesday will be partly sunny with isolated thunderstorms and highs around 90.
Conditions in the tropics remain very quiet with no development anticipated for the next several days.
