Crews are returning to resume repairs Tuesday morning on a water main break in Miami Beach that left hundreds of customers without water Monday.
The break happened on Crespi Boulevard between 84th and 85th Streets, leaving 500 people without water. The break was caused when construction equipment used for drainage projects in the area hit the water main, causing multiple cracks, city spokeswoman Nannette Rodriguez said.
Only about 40 customers were without water Tuesday morning, and crews were heading out at 9:30 a.m. to finish the repairs, Rodriguez said.
Affected customers are being told to continue boiling water as a precaution.
