Authorities are looking for a driver and passenger who fled on foot after their car crashed into a home in West Park Thursday morning.
According to the Broward Sheriff's Office, the car struck the home at the corner of Southwest 56th Avenue and 37th Street just before 6:30 a.m.
The silver Hyundai hit a concrete flower bed before running into the corner of the house, frightening the family inside. None of the family members were injured.
The driver and passenger, apparently uninjured, fled the scene on foot after the Hyundai's airbags deployed on impact, the BSO said.
It's unknown how fast the car was going when it struck the house.
Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue responded and determined there was no structural damage to the house.
Neighbors said the crash shook their house.
"All of a sudden everything just vibrated," next door neighbor Natalia Salazar said. "I got up really quick, I had an alarm, I had to shut it off and when I went outside I was asking to see if everyone was ok."
Authorities were still investigating the incident early Thursday.
