A pedestrian was left with severe injuries after a hit-and-run in Southwest Miami-Dade, officials said.
A car was traveling southbound on Krome Avenue just north of SW 184th street when it hit the pedestrian at about 4 a.m., according to Florida Highway Patrol Sergeant Eduardo Rivera.
The pedestrian, identified as a 51-year-old male, was taken to Kendall Regional Hospital for serious injuries, Rivera said.
Officials said the vehicle involved may have possibly been a blue or gray Volvo, but they have not released further details of the investigation.
