Erin is no longer a tropical depression, according to the National Hurricane Center in Miami.
The remnant of the depression was located about 1080 miles west-northwest of the Cape Verde Islands, and was moving west at 8 miles per hour with maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour as of 5 p.m. Sunday, the NHC said.
No coastal watches or warnings are in effect.
