A police pursuit that reportedly began in Collier ended in Fort Lauderdale Tuesday morning.
The chase began just after 10 a.m. after an alert was issued for a black Chrysler 300 in connection with a burglary in Naples, according to the Collier County Sheriff's Office.
The suspects drove across the state and the Broward Sheriff's Office assisted in the pursuit.
Footage showed the car speeding east down I-595 before exiting into a residential area in Fort Lauderdale.
At one point, the car slowed and three suspects were seen running in different directions through the neighborhood.
Footage showed all three being taken into custody in the area of 8th Court and Northwest 33rd Way by Fort Lauderdale Police. They were later arrested and identified as Jeremy Marquis Thomas, 22, of Pompano Beach; Darius Rashaad Hall, 22, of Lauderhill; and James Steel 19.
A crash involving officers connected to the pursuit was also reported in the area of Northwest 27th Avenue and 5th Street. Two officers sustained moderate injuries, police said.
No other details were immediately known.
