An alleged purse snatcher was killed and the passenger in his car was injured when his vehicle overturned during a chase with Hollywood Police on Monday, authorities said.
The female passenger was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The suspect's blue Impala crashed into a white van, and a police officer broke the window of that van to take out the driver.
A female officer also sustained minor injuries from the van glass window.
A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash.
