A man who pulled the trigger and shot and killed his wife with a gun he thought was unloaded is facing a manslaughter charge, Miami-Dade Police said.
Ernesto Radames Inesta, 36, was arrested following the fatal Wednesday night shooting in couple's home in the 1300 block of Northeast 42nd Avenue in Homestead, police said.

According to police, Inesta was sitting on the couch unloading his gun while his wife, 45-year-old Glenda Inesta, was making drinks in the kitchen.
Inesta, believing there were no more bullets in the gun, pointed it at his wife's head and asked "Where's my drink?" and pulled the trigger, police said.
The gun discharged, hitting Glenda Inesta in the left eye. She later died at the scene.
