Two people were killed and two were hospitalized following some sort of confrontation in northwest Miami-Dade Sunday night, police said.
The incident happened around 9 p.m. at a home in the area of Northwest 131st Street and 21st Avenue, Miami-Dade Police spokesman Det. Alvaro Zabaleta said.

Zabaleta said a man and a woman were either shot or stabbed and killed at the scene. Two other women were rushed to Ryder Trauma Center where they were in critical condition.
A toddler who was inside a car at the scene was unharmed, Zabaleta said.
It's unknown what led to the confrontation but Zabaleta said one man is being sought in the killings.

None of the victims have been identified and Zabaleta said police are still investigating the relationship between the victims and possibly the suspect.
The shooting came just hours after a 24-year-old man was shot and killed nearby, in the area of Northwest 63rd Street and 18th Avenue.
Police said they're looking for four who were in a white minivan with dark tints who may be connected to the shooting.
