A woman is facing DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges in a crash that killed a man over the weekend in southwest Miami-Dade.
Nicole Menendez, 25, consumed various drugs including cocaine and a bottle of wine before she caused a two-vehicle accident that left a male driver dead Saturday, police said.
Menendez appeared in bond court Monday where she was ordered held on $30,000 bond. It was unknown whether she has an attorney.

Menendez was first involved in a hit and run of a minivan on Southwest 147th Avenue and Sunset Drive, police said.
It was while she was driving away at high speeds, switching in and out of lanes, that she hit the second car, which caused the death of the driver, according to a Miami-Dade Police report.
The car hit a tree on Sunset Drive near Southwest 140th Avenue which left the driver dead on the scene, police said.

Menendez remained on the scene, spoke with investigators and was treated for minor injuries, according to police.
In addition to the DUI manslaughter and vehicular homicide charges, Menendez is charged with three counts of DUI.
Police are urging the owner of the minivan and anyone with information on the case to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
