Fish and wildlife officials are keeping tabs on an American crocodile spotted in a residential neighborhood in North Miami.
The croc was spotted 10 days ago while it was floating in a canal in the city’s Keystone Point neighborhood near 125th Street off Biscayne Boulevard.
City Councilman Scott Galvin said he is making people aware, and his newsletter this month includes a warning to residents.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will come out and look at a crocodile if it is more than 9 feet long.
