A Good Samaritan administered CPR to a 6-year-old boy and got him breathing again after he was hit by a vehicle crossing a North Miami street Friday evening, police said.
The child was crossing a street with his grandfather when he was struck at Northwest 125th Street and NW 2nd Avenue, North Miami Police spokesman Major Neal Cuevas said.
The driver remained on the scene, Cuevas said.
That when’s a citizen jumped into action and resuscitated the child. He was taken to Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, Cuevas said.
North Miami Police are investigating.
