One man was arrested after authorities found 36 marijuana plants inside a North Miami grow house, police said Wednesday.
The discovery was made by undercover detectives during an investigation at the home in the 600 block of Northeast 129th Street, North Miami Police spokesman Maj. Neal Cuevas said.
Cuevas described the plants as fully grown and high grade, and said they weighed about 54 pounds and had an estimated street value of $150,000. He said the operation was elaborate and sophisticated.
Yieniel Turino Salabarria, 28, was arrested and charged with marijuana trafficking, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and several other drug related charges, Cuevas said. It was unknown whether he has an attorney.
