Over $86 million in counterfeit and pirated goods have been seized at Miami International Airport over the past six months, authorities announced Wednesday.

The assorted merchandise has been intercepted in 505 different shipments, U.S. Customs and Border Protection said in a statement.

“One of CBP’s priorities is protecting the United States and consumers from the economic devastation associated with the trafficking of counterfeit goods,” CBP Port Director Roland Suliveras said.

The agency displayed some of the merchandise at MIA on Wednesday – including fake purses, earphones and a green Victoria’s Secret bra.

By seizing the goods, Customs helps to protect businesses that would be undermined by the counterfeit products and unsuspecting American consumers from using substandard or potentially dangerous products, the agency said.
