If you are going to be anywhere near downtown Miami this weekend, get ready for what’s likely to be a traffic nightmare.

With the second weekend of the Ultra Music Festival running from Friday through Sunday, two Miami Heat home games, and an Alicia Keys concert, the next several days will be packed.

Starting at 10 a.m. Friday, parts of Biscayne Boulevard will be reduced to two lanes and some of the street will be closed in both directions. Miami Police say public transportation is the way to go this weekend – the Metromover has a stop in front of the AmericanAirlines Aerna, which is right beside Ultra's main stage. The Metromover and Metrorail will run until 1 a.m.

The Metrobus schedule is also a little different for the weekend – it won’t be making stops at AAA.

Besides traffic, you can also expect drivers stopping in the road to take pictures, as NBC 6 saw Thursday night.

“There's what, 60,000 people, so what can you expect? You have to just be ready for that," said Angelic Carr, who is visiting from Wisconsin.

Luckily for Octavio Hernandez, he lives across the street and doesn't have to drive anywhere.

“Sometimes you just got to deal with music festivals like this, and you get used to it living in Miami,” he said.

The Heat play on Friday and Sunday nights. The team is strongly encouraging its fans to use public transportation, and allow ample time to navigate the area around the arena.
