A driver was nearly killed when a 15-foot long piece of wood came flying through his windshield on I-95 in Deerfield Beach Thursday, authorities said.
The 38-year-old man was driving southbound just south of 10th Avenue when the 2x6 pierced his front windshield, narrowly missing him, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said.
