Miami Police are investigating a shooting at the Opera Tower condominium building on 1750 North Bayshore Drive.
Investigators found two men shot in the building's lobby and another on the 30th floor, said Miami-Dade Police spokeswoman Kenia Reyes.
Reyes said there were five different crime scenes within the building.
"We don't know where it all started," Reyes said. "We have different floors where supposedly this shooting may have taken place, and a stairwell."
Residents said there were trails of blood throughout the building.
"All over the lobby drops, drops, drops of blood," said resident Yasmin Mattox.

There was even blood in a building elevator.
"We were going to take our dog for a walk and the elevator opened and it was all what seemed like blood, or droplets of blood, the whole elevator," Mattox said.
The three victims were transported to Ryder Trauma Center with multiple gunshot wounds, officials said. Two are in stable condition and the third is in serious condition as he undergoes surgery, according to Reyes.
The building was not evacuated, but police shut down the main elevators as part of the investigation.
Officials are asking for the community to come forward with any details that may help in the investigation.
