A man who has been charged in a triple murder in Broward County was sentenced to about 11 years in prison in connection to a separate ID theft-tax refund case, The Miami Herald reported.

Lineten Belizaire, 22, was sentenced in connection to the $1.7 million scheme on Thursday.

He was also arrested in January 2012 for the shooting deaths of the two women and a child in a Lauderdale Lakes apartment.

He has pleaded not guilty to three counts of second-degree murder with a firearm in the deaths of 21-year-old Octavia Barnett, 25-year-old Natasha Plummer and her 6-month-old child Carlton Stringer Jr.

Two other men _ Earnest Baldwin, 36, and Earl Baldwin, 42 _

were sentenced on Thursday in the ID theft-tax refund case, the newspaper reported. Earnest Baldwin was sentenced to 14 years and his brother got seven years, the newspaper reported.

The brothers were convicted in April of stealing the identities of more than 1000 people. Another man, 21-year-old Marckell Steward was sentenced in April to six years in prison.
