A scuffle between an iPod thief and his victim can be seen in surveillance video released by the Broward Sheriff’s Office Wednesday.
The victim was watching a video on her Apple device while riding the bus on April 10 at about 4 p.m. when, on the 3800 block of West Oakland Park Blvd., a male suspect in his teens grabbed the iPod and tried to run off the bus, the BSO said in a statement.

The victim held on to the iPod and his clothing, delaying him briefly. The suspect threatened to punch the victim in the face unless she let go of the iPod, according to the BSO.
She chased him outside, the video shows, but he got away with the iPod despite her attempts to restrain him, the BSO said.
The agency asks anyone with information on the incident to call BSO Det. Vince Coldwell at 954-321-4270 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
